Safety Monday!

Sometimes there is more concern for completing a job quickly rather than safely. Take time to do a quality job, safely. All injuries can be avoided. One of the best ways to learn how to work safely is to learn from risks others have taken that lead to injuries. By avoiding unsafe acts and practicing common sense, safe job practices will become routine, with less chance for accidents. To learn more about safety visit our website.

They require workers to complete safety compliance training focused on eliminating or diminishing occupational injury, illness, and death. At Power Services Group, we prioritize safety for all employees to ensure safe jobsite practices.

Accidents during turbine field service projects can cause injuries and claim lives.  Our primary objective when we discuss factors and causes of accidents is to find a way to prevent them before they occur.  Employers and Employees can control a primary driver of accidents – Unsafe Acts.  For example: a person may use equipment that is knowingly defective or damaged, or they may use good equipment in a careless or unsafe manner.  The second primary driver of accidents is Unsafe Conditions, which needs to be addressed through strong communication between the Employer, Employees, and any other parties involved in the project.   Unsafe conditions should be mitigated prior to attempting to perform work. Accident prevention is paramount, and by addressing unsafe acts and unsafe conditions you will vastly decrease the chances of an accident occurring in the first place.
