Safety Administration Specialist Job Description
Support the company-wide safety program through the effective administration of various safety compliance requirements.
Reporting Relationship:
- Director of HSE
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfill compliance requirements for the safety function of all commercial opportunities.
- Participate in the new business proposal process to capture and act upon safety requirements.
- Research safety compliance upon request from Safety team members.
- Lead the training participation tracking process with an overall objective of maintaining accurate and timely records.
- Participate in pre-service planning meetings to gather information on safety requirements for the technical service team members.
- Educate operations managers on training and administrative safety requirements to fulfill customer contracts.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of Safety administration experience in an industrial company is strongly preferred.
- An Associate Degree or equivalent college coursework is a definite plus.
- Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Demonstrated track record of success in a role where managing multiple administrative projects was required.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time to fulfill responsibilities at customer sites, as needed.
